JOB SEEKER CRYPTO SCAM – North Korean hackers stole over $659 million in cryptocurrency in 2024, according to a joint statement from the U.S., Japan, and South Korea. This included $235 million from WazirX, $308 million from Japan’s DMM Bitcoin, and other major breaches.
The Lazarus Group, a North Korean hacking collective, used malware and social engineering to breach systems. They also placed fake IT workers in companies to act as insider threats.
